Our 2026 Festival: August 15, 2026

While our festival will be more like a 'Mini Mudgee Readers’ Festival’ in 2026,
we’re still super excited to bring some amazing authors to town on Saturday, 15 August.

Our Story

The Mudgee Readers’ Festival has been running since 2010, a huge achievement for a festival created by a small team of passionate readers, with the first modest events held in Lawson Park.

Over the years the Festival has gone from strength to strength, with an exciting line-up of events across our gorgeous town, including bibliotherapy sessions, storytelling events, book and wine matching and, of course, our Long Lazy Lunch.
